Today has been a long day! Up at 7:00, class 8:30-10:00 ... reading psych chapter til 1:00, class til 4:00. History lecture wasn't as boring as last day, and art was really fun! We got to lay out our visual journals for display, and take a peak at everyone's. Afterwards we had a quick powerpoint on sculptures, and then started to work with clay! Oh, and we made a big mural up on the wall with all our 'eye' photos. So, for our clay project we had to sculpt objects that looked like eyes/had eye shapes/represented eyes. Basically anything to our interpretation! It was fun: I made a raindrop, sunshine, and peace sign. We are letting them dry til next week, then firing them, and then we get to paint next week I think! After class I chatted with Alli for a bit, and then hit up the gym with Daley. Now, I am home and trying to figure out ideas for my visual journal, as well as do some history reading before I have dinner and such.

So.tired.

Work was super slow, and super boring again today. I don't know how I made it through. I am now ready to shut my eyes and drift off to sleep, but I am having dinner at Dale's and we are going to watch a movie! It is nearly 8! But I didn't get home til 630, then had to pack up/clean/organize for tomorrow. My apartment is still a mess. Don't know when I am going to get that cleaned...Wednesday??

I really want to go somewhere for reading break. Somewhere hot!

Off to work for the day, today. I got a lot accomplished yesterday for my day off: first art piece in the sketchbook, got pictures ready for this eye project, and read for history on Monday. I still need to finish cleaning up my apartment from when I came back from holidays - it still looks like the aftermath of a tornado - and I have to finish getting supplies/money for a couple classes.

Had a good night last night too! Dale and I went out to Pagliacci's for supps, and then to Sherlock Holmes. Dinner was delish, and the movie was really good, and actually quite funny (but Dale and I were the only ones laughing? haha).

Okay, well I best brush my teeths, and then I'm headed out.

It's been crazy this week with back to school, work, and readjusting to Victoria (I still have completely unpacked!)...so here I am on Friday, finally getting in a blog post. I had to miss school Monday, and James and I took the Canada Line downtown to the Pacific Centre to do some shopping! I just got a few things from h&m and UO. It was a great way to kill time (and spend some Christmas money!) School has been good. I really really love 3 of my courses (P.E., music, and art - which I haven't been to a class yet...but it seems GREAT!), and two are iffy as of yet. I love P.E., but there is a heavy workload, and it is often confusing as to what is expected of us. But #1 class so far as got to be ed. psych...I am very happy with it so far!

This weekend I have tons of readings, and assignments to get done by tomorrow. I have to work all day Sunday...so that doesn't leave me much of a weekend (but I need the hours to get $$!). Tomorrow I am having a coffee date with Sierra, and then date night with Dale.

I've got to make some supper...and then I'm off to Carli's to see Alli and Amy for some wine time.

last chance

In my two weeks home, I have aquired a whole other giant suitcase to bring back to Victoria. I am thinking I have too much stuff. This is going to be a dilemma at the airport tomorrow. bah!

Just watched Brothers & Sisters...it was new tonight. Thank goodness, all my shows are coming back with new episodes! I am also finally getting into Mercy...I'm just about a third through, and it's just starting to get juicyyyy.

Back to rearranging and packing. Wish me luck,

Last afternoon! The weather is being super weird here, it's quite warm, and all the snow seems to be melting away, and dripping off the roof! It's that kind of mushy, wet, ugly snow! Anyways today: let myself sleep in nice and late, had poached eggs & hash browns for breakfast, worked out a bit, packed some more, picked up more pictures, and then just had some soup for lunch and am watching Real Housewives of Orange County. I am going to head downstairs now and do some journaling I think!

two for the road.

Two more nights at home. Sunday...tomorrow is the last night. I plan to have a lazy day: packing, organizing, and gettting ready to head back. I think I am going to do some journaling with my new pictures, and stickers that I got today! Very exciited. Today I had lunchies with 5 other girlies at Hot Shots, and throughly enjoyed catching up with everyone! This afternoon, did lots of errands (returned phone charger, and exchanged broken sunglasses, picked up journaling supplies, picked up pictures). This evening I redesigned my blog and twitter accounts, and then we had family friends over for another turkey dinner. Since my maj didn't get to cook the bird on the 25th, she wanted to do one tonight! So now we can have turkey buns for lunches! I am excited to shop on Monday!

Welcome, 2010. I think I like you so far. Home for two more days, home on Monday night. Ready for some routine and schedule and busyness.
