how about some tea?

woweeee. what an amazing weekend i had. first off: my boyfriend visited me from thursday night until sunday afternoon, and then it was my cousin carli's birthday on sunday night! it was very event filled.. and i will go into more detail woop woop

so first, dale got here not until around 1:30 a.m. on friday morning. his plane was a bit delayed, and then he had to take a taxi to get here..but he finally arrived after lots of little mishaps. hehe.
so then on friday: we went to the mall and shopped around a bit, and (congrats to ME) we actually took the bus!! friday night, we went to the keg and had drinks, and lots of good food, with good company. then we came back to my place and drank wine.
on saturday we went to lunch at ric's bar and grill (super cute), and then to the imax theater to watch roving mars. IT WAS SOOO GOOD. really really interesting haha. and then we went back to uvic, and went with sierra and alex to pick up dinner supplies and pumpkins. so we cooked up some dinners, drank more wine and carved pumpkins, ooh and also sierra's cousin and his gf came over. we ate really yummy cake that alex brought, and it was delicious. then dale and i walked alex to the bus stop, and we called it an early night around ten. but, since it was all halloweeny time here someone got crazy and decided to pull the fire alarm around 11:30 p.m., so we all had to evacuate and stand outside for awhile. but dale and i got to see everyone's halloween costumes. after we could go back in, dale and i went back to bed.
sunday morning: dale and i had good intentions and we were going to get up really early and go to another imax show..but instead we slept in a bit, and then went for brunch with sierra and alex to lady maralade. it was delicious as well. after that, dale and i went to our imax show, sea monsters. then we headed back to the university and dale packed up, and had to leave around 5.
it was really sad to see him go. it's hard to see each other, and then have to leave. it's kinda like you are just starting to get used to having them be in your life, and then the weekend is over, and one of you has to go home. ugh it really sucks.

after dale left, i had some sad moments. but since it was my cousin's birthday, i had to pack up all my things and she came to pick me up, and we headed back to her place with amy. we got ready, and then went to find a birthday dinner spot. we picked the cactus club. GOOD CHOICE. really good choice. it is super super cute, then drinks are fab. the food is fab. and the bathrooms are PRIME. seriously, if a restaurant has awesome bathrooms, then it wins over my heart haha. so we had tons of fun there. then we headed back to carli's place to change again and get our drink on for the club. ALL ON A SUNDAY NIGHT hehe. so we drank some apple pie martinis, and red wine, and pumped ourselves up with some spice girls. so then we headed to element and had a fabulous time there, drank some redbull/vodka buckets, and danced until it closed. afterwards we went on the search for some after club pizza. somehow we broke into a subway accidentally and set off the aLarm. we actually didn't know it wasn't open cause the door was open, and all the lights on.
once we figured that out, we caught a cab and booked it home. we ordered some pizza, and passed out around 430. then amy and i slept til 645, and got up (feeling a little ill), and i got a bus back to campus, and amy went to her place. I had a class at 830, which i went to (big mistake, so boring).. and now i am super super tired and just catching up with some picture uploading, and figuring out my schedule for this week. boooo. hehe.


ANYWAYS. there's a weekend in the liiife of TAYLOR. woop
