today i called dale, and i said 'happy halloween, babe!' and he asked if that was even allowed. he said that saying happy halloween was not quite the same as merry christmas, or happy new years kind of thing..
so i asked sierra and alex if this was true. and they didn't really say it was silly. so i am thinking that i will continue to say happy halloween!
anyways, my day has been pretty productive: i got up, went to see my math prof to get help for the assignment, finished that, went out to lunch with the ladies to sweet greens, scoped out some people with them before class..
and what a small world we live in, i ran into someone.. it was totally random and it was like AH. weiiird. hehe.
then i went to see my astro prof, to get help with my assignment, finished that, then i went for a workout with sierra, and then right from the gym had to run to class.
so, now i'm sitting in chinese culture and it's sooo boring. we are just watching a moviiie, but i just learned some interesting facts:
our prof told us that there are people in mexico, just above puerto vallarta, who consider themselves chinese. but they look mexican.. it's just interesting because it really makes you wonder, where did the chinese come from, did the chinese discover america? (we learned that maybe they did, and columbus did not)... ooh i just love the chinese. hehe.
anyways, then i have astro after this and we are having some halloween party time with punch and treats and everything! hehe. then after that i'm going to hang out with alex and sierra, and we are going to watch saw and maybe order pizzza. woop woop

how about some tea?
woweeee. what an amazing weekend i had. first off: my boyfriend visited me from thursday night until sunday afternoon, and then it was my cousin carli's birthday on sunday night! it was very event filled.. and i will go into more detail woop woop
so first, dale got here not until around 1:30 a.m. on friday morning. his plane was a bit delayed, and then he had to take a taxi to get here..but he finally arrived after lots of little mishaps. hehe.
so then on friday: we went to the mall and shopped around a bit, and (congrats to ME) we actually took the bus!! friday night, we went to the keg and had drinks, and lots of good food, with good company. then we came back to my place and drank wine.
on saturday we went to lunch at ric's bar and grill (super cute), and then to the imax theater to watch roving mars. IT WAS SOOO GOOD. really really interesting haha. and then we went back to uvic, and went with sierra and alex to pick up dinner supplies and pumpkins. so we cooked up some dinners, drank more wine and carved pumpkins, ooh and also sierra's cousin and his gf came over. we ate really yummy cake that alex brought, and it was delicious. then dale and i walked alex to the bus stop, and we called it an early night around ten. but, since it was all halloweeny time here someone got crazy and decided to pull the fire alarm around 11:30 p.m., so we all had to evacuate and stand outside for awhile. but dale and i got to see everyone's halloween costumes. after we could go back in, dale and i went back to bed.
sunday morning: dale and i had good intentions and we were going to get up really early and go to another imax show..but instead we slept in a bit, and then went for brunch with sierra and alex to lady maralade. it was delicious as well. after that, dale and i went to our imax show, sea monsters. then we headed back to the university and dale packed up, and had to leave around 5.
it was really sad to see him go. it's hard to see each other, and then have to leave. it's kinda like you are just starting to get used to having them be in your life, and then the weekend is over, and one of you has to go home. ugh it really sucks.
after dale left, i had some sad moments. but since it was my cousin's birthday, i had to pack up all my things and she came to pick me up, and we headed back to her place with amy. we got ready, and then went to find a birthday dinner spot. we picked the cactus club. GOOD CHOICE. really good choice. it is super super cute, then drinks are fab. the food is fab. and the bathrooms are PRIME. seriously, if a restaurant has awesome bathrooms, then it wins over my heart haha. so we had tons of fun there. then we headed back to carli's place to change again and get our drink on for the club. ALL ON A SUNDAY NIGHT hehe. so we drank some apple pie martinis, and red wine, and pumped ourselves up with some spice girls. so then we headed to element and had a fabulous time there, drank some redbull/vodka buckets, and danced until it closed. afterwards we went on the search for some after club pizza. somehow we broke into a subway accidentally and set off the aLarm. we actually didn't know it wasn't open cause the door was open, and all the lights on.
once we figured that out, we caught a cab and booked it home. we ordered some pizza, and passed out around 430. then amy and i slept til 645, and got up (feeling a little ill), and i got a bus back to campus, and amy went to her place. I had a class at 830, which i went to (big mistake, so boring).. and now i am super super tired and just catching up with some picture uploading, and figuring out my schedule for this week. boooo. hehe.

pps. i am missing my girlies, alex and sierra. they have been busy studying for midterms all week, and i, well i have been busy not studying for things all week. i hope we can go on a little date next week sometime.
ooh and gosh. i almost forgot: my astro prof now knows my name cause i freaking always have so many questions and i go to his office hours a lot. haha. anyways, i thought it was cool that he knew my name... until he called on me in class last night and i wasn't paying attention, and i didn't know how to answer his question so i just pretended that i was still working on it, and looked down, and didn't look back up until he moved onto someone else.

oookay, so i'm sitting here, waiting for the bf to arrive. i have two hours to go. arg. i hate waiting. but i have kept myself super busy. i did some homework, vacuumed my floor, took out my garbage, put up pictures, watched greys, facebooked, ate some cookies haha. all in preparation for bf time.
holy doodle. am i ever excited.
there was one little bump in the road, however, this story has a happy ending...
dale called and told me that his flight was going to be delayed, and possibly canceled because of a flat tire. now, in the back of my head i know that they are NOT going to cancel a flight because of that, nor is it going to take too long to change it... but apparently there are NO extra tires at the airport. this is what dale is telling me. i think he is joking, but then i can tell he is not... i get angry.
i tell him to ask why there are no fucking spare tires at the airport.
he says he already did, i hope he used the word fucking in there too.
then dale calls me back and says he is on his way back to corvallis, and that he'll be here around 9 a.m. tomorrow. now i am really mad.
but then, i hear a little chuckle, and dale tells me he is boarding and that he will see me tonight.
oh happy days. the bf IS coming. hip hip

well, i have returned to my old stomping grounds here. i also have a livejournal account, but i think having a blogspot is going to be just as fun, if i can get it figured it, that is!
anyways. so news of the day: the boyfriend will be visiting me in victoria this weekend! he arrives tonight, and will be staying until sunday evening. i am soo freaking excited! hopefully i will be able to show him all the gems of victoria, and hopefully it doesn't rain too much!
